Howdy! My name is Megan Garza and I am from Alvin, Texas. (Not many people know of it, but the most exciting thing you need to know is that Alvin is the hometown of Nolan Ryan!) I was born and raised as an only child of two Aggie Alumni, so you could guess from day one where I would end up... Texas A&M University! Growing up I was a die-hard softball player and each weekend we traveled to play on a tournament team. Softball was a huge part of my life and I truly believe the principles I learned playing sports helped develop my character into who I am today.
Throughout my time at A&M, I tried my best to emulate the values of Texas A&M: excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect, and selfless service. I participated in numerous student organizations in efforts to give back to the university that has given me so much personal growth. It was through these organizations and leadership positions that led me to want to pursue a career in Human Resource Development.
In December of 2016, I completed my Master's degree in Educational Human Resource Development and moved back to the Houston area. I am a lover of life and Jesus. I enjoy park days and running with my only baby, my blue heeler, Wrangler. I love the outdoors and enjoying living a healthy lifestyle. I am a passionate Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant addicted to changing lives and helping others win. I always believe in promoting positivity and being an energy giver to others.
I hope you enjoy the snapshots into my life!
All My Love,
Megan Garza '14
